House 21-20

Pre-Construction Phase

The ascending 3-storey residence is composed of brick-faced volumes on stilts. The design takes advantage of the steep lot, with every level is positioned to connect to an outdoor space.

The main design element is the east-west facing concrete beams that extend to the outside. These beams indirectly bring in daylight, while the flat concrete roof prevents direct sunlight.
